Collecting for the Future: Soundscapes from the Archive

MMaP Gallery, second floor, Arts and Culture Centre

Memorial University’s Folklore and Language Archive (MUNFLA), in collaboration with the Labrador Campus Library and The Research Centre for the Study of Music, Media, and Place (MMaP) invite you to join us for an evening of music exploring connections between place, environment, and traditional culture.

Featuring performances by Eastern Owl, Port-aux-Poutines, and special guest appearances by members of Labrador’s Silver Wolf Band and Ptarmageddon.

St. John’s: doors, 6:30 pm, concert 7 pm – MMaP Gallery, Arts and Culture Centre

Happy Valley Goose Bay: live streaming concert party, 6:30 pm – Labrador Campus Library

This event is part of MUNFLA’s yearlong celebrations in recognition of Memorial University’s 100th Anniversary.
