In this session, Kristen Winter (she/her), a navigator for the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, will explore the impact of the learning environment for Autistic learners, and how Universal Design for Learning (UDL) can be used to create more accessible and supportive classrooms. Beginning with a brief overview of autism acceptance and understanding, this session will provide practical, autism-informed strategies that reduce barriers and support learning for all.
