Creating and Sustaining Women’s Leadership

On Tuesday, March 8, Memorial’s Office of the Vice-Provost, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism, will host a virtual event in recognition and celebration of International Women’s Day.

The discussion will feature Dr. Wanda Thomas Bernard, a highly regarded social worker, educator, researcher, community activist and advocate of social change. Dr. Bernard is also a current member of the Senate of Canada. The discussion will take place on WebEx from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and is open to all students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the public.
