Creating Secure Assessments with Advanced Quiz Settings for Instructors

Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1-2 p.m.

Online

Presenting each student in your course with a slightly different version of the same quiz deters academic dishonesty and thus increases the integrity of the assessment.

The Quiz tool in Brightspace allows instructors to configure quizzes in a way that will present each student with a different version of the same quiz. In this session, various methods of randomizing a Brightspace quiz will be illustrated, such as shuffling questions and answer choices; creating a question pool and populating a quiz (or a section within it) with a random selection of questions from the pool; and more. The function of the Question Library will also be discussed.

For more information and to register, please visit the event page.
