Digital and Social Media Digital Advertising

This program will utilize a hybrid online delivery method. The course will consist of a combination of recorded online content as well as synchronous online sessions. The majority of the content will be delivered through approximately 20 hours of recorded presentations, platform tutorials and self-directing application exercises which you can begin as soon as you register for the seminar with our new START TODAY initiative.
Following the completion of your recorded online content you will attend three scheduled synchronous online sessions to further explore key topics, address any questions you may have, and allow for a deeper understanding of the content. There will be opportunities during all recorded online content to ask questions and engage with the course facilitator throughout the time you are completing your content.
Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the in-person delivery of the live modules of the DSMP Digital Advertising Seminar at all of our partner locations has been moved to an online delivery for 2020 & 2021 and is expected to return to in-person delivery at our partners locations in 2022.
*Please note that you MUST complete the recorded content before being invited to the live sessions and both the recorded content and live sessions are mandatory for your Certificate of Completion*
These changes will allow for a better learning experience and provide you with the opportunity to apply the information covered throughout the course to maximize the value you receive during the training.
The majority of an organizations marketing budgets are being spent on online platforms. However with the wide range of platforms available, both digital & social, being able to determine what type of advertising to pursue and what channels to deploy those ads on in becoming increasingly complex.
In 2021 the Communication, Engagement & Advertising Seminar evolved from a single seminar into two distinct seminars, the Digital Communication & Engagement Seminar and the Digital Advertising Seminar. The increased growth and importance of messaging applications and SMS communications along with customer relationship management tools required their incorporation into the training program. The growth of the range of digital advertising platforms and the increased variety of digital ads available on each of these platforms identified the need to have a dedicated seminar that focused exclusively on digital advertising.
The Digital Advertising Seminar focuses on understanding the types of advertising that can be undertaken on a range of digital and social media platforms and how to determine where you should be placing those ads to optimize your return on ad spend. This seminar will address the key decisions including advertising channel, type of ads, creating effective ads, targeting options and payment strategies. The seminar will also explore options for effective advertising in an increasing private digital environment.
