Disabilities Mentoring Experience Information Session
Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2-3 p.m.
Online
Join Memorial’s Department of Human Resources and Meghan Kelly, Vice President of Innova to learn about Disabilities Mentoring Experience (DME).
DME establishes a shared learning experience which lends to the identification of essential and transferable skills and facilitates increased disability confidence. We thrive with a purpose of making new connections to talent, enhancing accessibility, and creating systemic change for employment of people with disabilities in Canada. Creating new connections increases engagement, improves knowledge sharing, lends to innovation and the realization of equitable solutions for all employees. Disabilities Mentoring Experience is a solution that re-engages people, so they gain confidence, recognize self-growth and development, acknowledge corporate pride and discover new perspectives. During DME mentors increase their accessibility confidence, while mentees can learn about different work environments.
