Disaster Chef Competition

We are challenging all employees, faculty, and students at the St. John’s, Signal Hill, and Marine Institute campuses to create an original recipe for a main course dish with a select list of non-perishable foods, basic cooking supplies, and a camp stove.
Three finalists will be selected from all recipes submitted and given the opportunity to prepare their recipe for a panel of judges at our Disaster Chef Competition on May 13, 2026.
All are welcome to come watch and cheer on the competitors!
