Earth Day Walk

Gather in the Arts atrium to walk around Burton's Pond

Join the Sustainability and Climate Action Office to celebrate Earth Day with an accessible spring walk around Burton’s Pond. Bundle up and come out for some fresh spring air – walk is rain or shine! Our weather can be unpredictable, but we’re not letting that stop us! Gather in the Arts atrium (near Tim Horton’s) at 12:20 pm to begin the walk at 12:30 pm. See the route here and feel free to join along the way. Take part in a sustainability scavenger hunt during the walk for a chance to win some exciting prizes including a membership to the Botanical Garden, a membership to the Works, an on-campus bike locker, a 6 cu.yd. dumpster rental for spring cleaning from Heave Away Waste Management, and a sustainability gift basket! After the walk, gather in the Arts atrium for snacks – there will be hot coffee to warm you up!
