Engineering as a Caring Profession

Tuesday, April 5, 7-8 p.m.

Online

Join us as Darlene Spracklin-Reid, P.Eng., talks about engineering as a caring profession and how engineers have always been connected to the communities they serve.

To build these types of connections and learn about the communities in which they will practice, engineering students have been completing work terms with community groups and not-for-profit organizations.

These experiences have been helping engineering students gain technical skills while learning to appreciate the role that engineers play in the protection of the public and the environment.
