IBM SkillsBuild is a free, digital training program that helps adults develop valuable new skills regardless of their background or education. Anyone can sign up for a SkillsBuild account to access over 1000 online courses that build a range of information technology (IT) and professional workplace skills. This platform provides career assessments, online coursework, resume-building digital credentials and access to a global community.

Join Justin Burchart (Digital Success Manager, IBM Canada) to learn more about the different kinds of courses offered through SkillsBuild as well as how to navigate the platform. Justin will also detail how, through a partnership between IBM Canada and Memorial’s Centre for Analytics, Informatics and Research (CAIR), members of the Memorial University Community have access to additional courses, supports and partner organization content.
