Foundations in Patient-oriented Research Training: An Overview

In this session, NL SUPPORT will provide an overview of “Foundations in Patient-Oriented Research”, a course developed by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) that will be offered by the unit in Winter 2022. The course is intended to equip learners with the necessary skills to participate meaningfully in patient-oriented research, and is delivered with the principles of co-learning, meaning that patients, researchers, decision-makers and policy makers collaborate for a richer learning experience for all.

During this brief session, NL SUPPORT will describe the curriculum and its intended audience, and will provide details on how and when the course will be offered.
