Fulbright Scholar Talk: Uncertainty and Policy Workshop
Wednesday, May 18, 12-1 p.m.
SN-2000
Sarah Michaels, Fulbright Canada Distinguished Research Chair in Environmental Science, will give the talk.
In the complex, multi-facetted, interlinked world of policy making, uncertainty means different things to different participants. What does it mean to you? In this workshop, we will explore how people understand uncertainty and why, and what are the implications for policy making of having different interpretations of uncertainty. How can we understand constructively the different dimensions of uncertainty at play in policy making?
