The George Story Distinguished Lecture Series brings a highly regarded scholar to Memorial University every year for a guest lecture.

The 2026 Lecture will be given by Dr. Sascha O. Becker from the University of Warwick and Monash University. Dr. Becker will deliver a public lecture entitled: “Religion and Economic Development: Past, Present, and Future”.

A reception will be held following the lecture.
