The Research Centre for Music, Media, and Place at Memorial University is thrilled to announced the launch of our newly redesigned website, “Folk Songs of Atlantic Canada from the collections of MacEdward Leach!”

Join MMaP in celebrating the Leach collection at our upcoming “Good as a Concert” Event: Traditional Newfoundland Songs from the Collection of MacEdward Leach. Hosted by Eleanor Dawson and Jim Payne, the concert features performances of songs from the Leach Collection by Fergus O’Byrne, Ginny Ryan, Matthew Byrne, and Ellen Power.

Come celebrate this important part of Newfoundland’s musical heritage!
