How to Access Data and Public Engagement in Health Data Research

Join Julia Burt (Public Engagement Fellow, HDRN Canada) and Marie-Chantal Ethier (Lead, Data Access Support Hub, HDRN Canada) to learn about HDRN Canada’s Data Access Support Hub (DASH) and how public engagement has been shaping the work of Health Data Research Network Canada.

In this webinar, you will learn about the DASH services available to researchers interested in accessing multi-regional datasets, including how to navigate the data access process, and the centralized services and tools available to researchers conducting multi-jurisdictional research.

Attendees will also hear about how HDRN Canada has been engaging the public to bridge the gap between health data and the patient experience.

This webinar is for anyone interested in learning about the how to’s of national data access or with an interest in the complexities of the public perception on health data, including but not limited to: patients/the public, researchers, health professionals, and policy/decision makers.
