International Inuit Day at Juniper House

Juniper House, 208 Elizabeth Ave.

Thursday, November 7th, is International Inuit Day, a day to celebrate the language and culture of Inuit in Canada and Internationally. The Office of Indigenous Affairs and the Indigenous Student Resource Centre would like to invite the Memorial community to join us in celebrating this day.

From 1 pm – 3 pm drop by Juniper House (208 Elizabeth Avenue) to participate in our International Inuit Day programming. An opening prayer and lighting of the Kullik will be followed by a brief talk before we kick off the fun with Inuit Games and an excerpt from an Inuit film. A light lunch will be provided, which will feature some Inuit country food. Please RSVP by emailing ISRC@mun.ca by Monday, November 4.
