Internationalization Office Brown Bag Lunch

Wednesday, Sept. 13, 12:15-2 p.m.

Global Learning Centre, room 2002, 57 Allandale Rd., Burton's Pond

The Internationalization Office (IO) at Memorial University is embarking on a consultation process to determine opportunities in project and capacity building.  Through this work, Memorial aims to identify, facilitate and support the potential collaboration between stakeholders in areas of common interest. This project will build on existing capacities and previous work done within the office.

With funding from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), the IO has engaged a consultant, Dr. Basel Alashi, to undertake this assignment with a focus on the relationship between Memorial University community stakeholders to broaden our pool of experts available to take part in potential projects. Dr. Alashi works with the World Bank Group and has over 20 years of experience in higher education.  To this effect, Dr. Alashi will be conducting a project mission to St. John’s Campus next week for meeting with both internal and external stakeholders to develop the plan.

Interested faculty and staff are invited to attend and should RSVP their intention to do so (ptizzard@mun.ca)  by Monday, September 11 4:30 p.m.
