Introduction to High-Impact Educational Practices

High-impact practices (HIPs) are active learning strategies that promote student engagement and facilitate deep learning. This foundational session will introduce participants to a number of HIPs and explore why they are important to incorporate into curriculum at both the course and program levels. A focus will be on the shared characteristics of HIPs and how these characteristics can inform the design and delivery of engaging and deep learning experiences.
