Learning to Unsettle Cormack’s Journey

Speaking with us will be Chief Mi’sel Joe, Sheila O’Neill and Jerry Evans, who will discuss their recent literary works that challenge the erasure of Indigenous peoples in the history of Newfoundland and Labrador. Joining the conversation will be historian Dr. Jocelyn Thorpe, who will encourage us to consider how even a settler archival record can be used to examine Indigenous history and challenge Indigenous erasure.
