Legacy brings together trumpeter Dr. Dylan Maddix and pianist Dr. Madeline Hildebrand in a tribute to the mentors who shaped their artistic paths, with guest trumpeter Dr. Alan Klaus. Through works by Joseph Turrin, Robert Schumann, J.S. Bach, Charles Ives, Cait Nishimura, and Bruce Broughton, the program reflects on the guidance, inspiration, and their musical lineage.
