Linguistic Diversity in Canadian Workplaces

Tuesday, April 20, 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Online

Memorial is an employer partner with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI). As part of this partnership, Memorial employees and retirees are invited to attend this webinar. Linguistic diversity addresses how companies can be inclusive towards employees whose first language is not what is predominantly spoken in the province in which they work. It also explores how Canada’s two official languages can promote the values of linguistic inclusion in the workplace.

To register, please click here. When registering, click on “Register as an Employer Partner”, enter your MUN email address and contact information, click on “I work for a CCDI employer partner” and select Memorial University from the drop down menu.

If you have any questions or require accommodations, such as ASL interpreting or real-time captioning, please contact Tina Hickey, employment equity officer, Department of Human Resources.
