Activation of JNK signaling promotes all-trans-retinal-induced photoreceptor apoptosis in mice
Objectives:
1. Understand the visual cycle and the importance of all-trans-retinal clearance in the retina
2. Review JNK signaling and assess how it can promote apoptosis
3. Understand the connection between reactive oxygen species, JNK signaling and photoreceptor cell death
