MUNalum 101: Gender Diversity

Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1-2 p.m.

Online

A MUNalum Days event

While transgender identities are not new, the last decade has seen an explosion in gender equity activism led by trans and gender-nonconforming advocates. Join Memorial PhD candidate Taylor Stocks (they/he), M.Phil.’16, to learn the basics of what you need to know to be inclusive of trans persons: respectful language, pronouns, histories, and current issues. Bring your gender-related questions and curiosities; this space is safe and open to those with little to no previous knowledge of trans identities. Register here.
