MUNalum 101: Is COVID Over?

Tuesday, Oct. 11, 1-2 p.m.

Online

While COVID-19 might never completely disappear, we are a long way from lock-downs and washing our groceries.  Overall vaccination levels are high, infections are less severe and everyone either seems to have had it at least once or know someone who has.  But the immune-compromised must still be wary and deaths continue to occur in vulnerable populations. Memorial University Faculty of Medicine professor of virology and immunology Dr. Rod Russell (B.Sc.’96, M.Sc.’00) will offer an expert’s perspective on where we’ve been, where we are and where we are going with COVID-19.
