MUNalum 101: Understanding Supply Chains

Tuesday, April 12, 1-2 p.m.

Online

As we are all aware, the Covid-19 pandemic has posed significant challenges for supply chains globally. Newfoundland and Labrador is no stranger to supply chain challenges due to its geography.

Jeremy Whittle (BMS’00) will provide an overview of the supply chain, including how it functions in the business-to-business (B2B) context and how a sudden event can exaggerate supply chain challenges for businesses and individuals. He will offer lessons learned and suggestions on how business owners and individuals can better cope with challenges and disruptions.

Sarah Teo (MBA’19), manager of the Husky Centre of Excellence in Sales and Supply Chain Management, will briefly explain the Centre’s key role in developing a capable and responsible sales and supply chain community.
