In recognition of the 125th anniversary of the first transatlantic signal, Memorial University will host H.E.  Alessandro Cattaneo, Ambassador of Italy to Canada, and accompanying delegation on Monday, March 16th. There will be a special talk on Telecommunications with Scientific Attache from the Italian Embassy to Canada, Prof. Costanza Conti along with Memorial’s own Dr. Octavia Dobre, Dr. Leonard Zedel, and Mr. Joe Craig. The discussion begins at 10 am, at the Whale Atrium, Core Science Facility, Memorial University.
