Getting Past the Finish Line Part 2: Setting up for success and having the hard conversations
Join us for the second part of our discussion on helping students finish their graduate programs. This month, we will be talking about the two ends of a graduate degree: the starting line and the finish line. First, we will discuss strategies for setting students up for success by agreeing on expectations and setting up a plan for their program. We will also discuss the other end of the degree, particularly for students long in their program and struggling to finish. How do we navigate those difficult conversations about finishing or ending a program?
Bring your lunch and join us for this month’s installment of the SGS Graduate Supervisor Training series.
