An IP strategy is critical for a researcher or company that chooses to commercialize its technology.  Participants will get an essential foundation in IP, including:

 

  • balancing IP goals with academic grants and publishing,
  • the criteria and cost-benefit analysis for patenting, including emerging areas in biotech, software and AI,
  • international patent filing strategy, and
  • establishing freedom to operate.

As well, learn to handle IP like a pro in your research and commercialization agreements.
