The Political Science Graduate Students’ Society (PSGSS), in partnership with the Political Science Society (PSS), wishes to invite everyone to participate in the 6th Political Perspectives Conference which will be held using a hybrid format on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Memorial University. The conference is our flagship event which aims to create an avenue for Humanities and Social Sciences students to share and exchange views on their ongoing research papers related to Politics. The theme for this year’s event is “Envisioning Post-COVID-19 Local to Global Politics and Governance” wherein intend to explore relevant theoretical, empirical and analytical questions under the following panels: State-Building, International Security and Global Governance; Identity, Race and Canadian Politics; and Global Public Health and Political Economy. Through the deliberations, we hope to generate ideas and insights on how states, societies and individuals may contribute in building a more just, humane and sustainable post-pandemic, new world order.
