This Stolen Country of Mine.
Two Ecuadorian men fight against China’s influence in their nation. Eco-activist Paúl Jarrín Mosquera leads indigenous resistance against land exploitation, while investigative journalist Fernando Villavicencio (a presidential candidate recently assassinated) exposes corruption and secret China-Ecuador contracts. In Marc Weise’s expose, both men battle for their country’s freedom against corruption, greed, and colonization.
