January UDL CoP Seminar
The Universal Design for Learning Community of Practice is pleased to welcome Ali Pearson (they/them) for our January seminar. Ali is a neurodiverse social worker, parent of three neurodiverse children, and a doctoral student whose work bridges neurodiversity, gender diversity, community, and mental well-being.
This interactive workshop will explore how service providers can partner with caregivers to co-create a UDL-informed toolbox for parenting. Drawing on both professional practice and lived experience, Ali will share practical examples of how UDL principles can support equity, access, and inclusion in everyday family life, from playdates to prom.
Join us to reflect on how UDL can deepen our approaches to caregiving, advocacy, and family support across diverse contexts.
