SESSION 6: USING BRIGHTSPACE TO PROMOTE STUDENT ENGAGEMENT

This interactive workshop will focus on Brightspace tools that foster meaningful student engagement. The session incorporates hands-on strategies that work in online, blended, and face-to-face courses.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Design course content in Brightspace that supports active learning and sustained student engagement.
  • Apply Brightspace tools to enhance collaboration, interaction, and community in online, blended, and face-to-face courses.
  • Use feedback and assessment strategies in Brightspace to support student learning in a meaningful way.

Some computers will be available for use in this session; however, participants are encouraged to bring their own devices.
