The Role of the Bystander: Introduction and Skill Development

Wednesday, Jan. 24, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Online

Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault does not only affect those directly involved, our university community can be impacted as well. We have a shared responsibility to prevent and address sexual violence at Memorial and in the larger environment we live in. This session covers the “Role of the Bystander – Introduction” session and adds material on how to intervene. The session covers topics that are sensitive and can be disturbing for some. This session will be facilitated by Maxine Paul, Associate Advisor, Sexual Harassment Office.

*Given the overlap of material, you do not need to attend both the Introduction session (Dec 13th) and the Introduction and Skill Development session (Jan 24th). Either session can be chosen.
