In this UDL Community of Practice seminar, Elaina Fennell (she/her) and Alison Edwards (she/her), both K-12 Program Specialists with NLSchools, highlight various student perspectives as they experienced Universal Design for Learning in their classes.
Overview: This seminar invites educators to step inside classrooms through the voices of students themselves—voices that are honest, reflective, and not always glowing. Grounded in real classroom stories from Grades 6–12, The View From Within explores how UDL comes alive (or falls flat) depending on the culture we design, the agency we foster, and the guidance we provide.
