There is No Planet Sea: Understanding the Marine Climate Crisis

Wednesday, Aug. 27, 7-8:30 p.m.

Champney's West Aquarium, near Port Rexton, Route 230

As Newfoundland, and the rest of the world, faces increased pressures to act on climate change, it is important to know what it is and what this may mean for you! Especially when it comes to living on this great big rock surrounded by the cold Atlantic Ocean! Students from Memorial will be giving a talk on the effects of climate change right here in Newfoundland, explaining some of the research we are doing here at Memorial University on these very issues. Come join us for a night of learning about the impacts of marine based climate change, because there is no Planet Sea!

Presented by Champney's West Heritage Group
