Thesis Writing Retreat

Completing a thesis or dissertation is easier with a regular schedule and the support of a writing group. The Writing Centre and School of Graduate Studies are pleased to host a 5-day thesis retreat for graduate students from April 21-25, 2025. Participants will spend between 5 and 6 hours each day writing independently.

The program is open to all MUN graduate students in the writing phase of a thesis or dissertation-based program, but is best suited to those students who have completed their data analysis and have written at least one chapter of their thesis or dissertation. If you are looking for distraction-free time to focus on writing and can commit to 5 days of consistent writing, this retreat is for you!
