Bach’s Long Walk in the Snow:

A fascinating walk will take place. At 20 and in his first job, the young JS Bach got into such trouble that the only thing he could do was to walk away. JS Bach’s Long Walk in the Snow takes you along on that trip: a 400 km odyssey with street fights, big business, insight, fulfilment, the father figure he didn’t know he needed and, quite possibly, love. On Aug. 16 at 7:30 pm, join master storyteller Tom Allen and a brilliant musical cast of harpist Lori Gemmell, violinist Mark Fewer, singer Deantha Edmunds, bassist Jim Vivian and pianist Bill Brennan for an enthralling night of story and music at the Majestic Theatre.
