Two-Eared Listening for Deeper Understanding: Restorative Justice in NL

Miawpukek First Nation, Relationships First – Restorative Justice Consortium, and Memorial University are proud to announce their collaborative restorative justice event.
The goals of this gathering include:
1. Deep listening to Indigenous experiences of justice and injustice;
2. Increasing understanding of past and present nation-nation relationships in NL;
3. Strengthening NL’s knowledge and practice of relational, restorative justice;
4. Informing Education, Justice, and Community policies seeking to infuse TRC recommendations 27, 28, 31, 42, and 60-63.
This event will take place at the Emera Innovation Conference Centre and Online. Sessions on Thursday, November 18, 2021 (5:30-9 PM), Friday, November 19, 2021 (8:30 AM-4:30 PM), and Saturday, November 20, 2021 (9 AM-1 PM)
