Using Technology for Collaboration and Group Work

Tuesday, March 15, 2-3 p.m.

Online

Working in a group environment and collaborating with others are essential skills for graduates. However, effective asynchronous online discussions and group work do not just automatically happen – nurturing is required. Students often do not understand expectations or how to work in a group environment. This session will introduce you to instructional strategies and Brightspace tools related to collaboration and group work. It will include best practices for collaborative learning activities and a demonstration of how to set up and facilitate activities using the Discussions and Groups tools in Brightspace.

This session will be hosted in Webex. Registration is required for this event. For more information and to register, please follow *this link*.
