Validation for Quantitative, Qualitative and Mixed Methods Research

Validity has many names, such as credibility, trustworthiness, legitimation, and so forth. Regardless of the terminology, the fundamental question of validity is: Can we trust the inferences we make from the results of our research? This session will explain, with examples, several validity checks that researchers should conduct to strengthen validity.
