Visible Mending Workshop: Sashiko

Celestial Gallery, Geo Centre, Signal Hill

Join the Climate Collective and Neighbours United for a workshop on visible mending. Our skilled facilitators will teach about the methods of sashiko, an embroidery technique to repair clothing, then you can try it yourself!

All required materials will be provided, just bring a piece of clothing to repair. If you want specific materials or specific fabric colours to match your original piece, it is recommended to bring those materials, as we cannot guarantee colour matched materials.

The event will be held at the Johnson Geo Center from 6:00pm to 8:30pm, please complete this registration form to confirm your spot. Individual registration is required.
