Wellness Session: Healthy Active Living

Wednesday, May 26, 10-11 a.m.

Online

Join the Department of Human Resources along with an expert facilitator from Morneau Shepell to discuss the benefits of being active as well as the risks of inactivity. Employees will learn about the components of fitness and activities, and the six stages of behaviour change toward a healthier lifestyle.   At the end of this seminar, participants will be able to do the following:  discuss the barriers and challenges of becoming active; understand how to change their behaviour; understand the types and examples of activities; and know how to stay motivated. To register, email Kathleen Wall, wellness consultant, at kwall@mun.ca before May 25.  If you require accommodations, such as ASL interpreting or real-time captioning, email Tina Hickey, at hickeyt@mun.ca
