What Next? Celebrating International Graduates and Community Belonging in Newfoundland and Labrador, is a celebration and community engagement event for international students convocating in Fall 2026. The event will include celebrations, community booths and a panel presentation with immigration and career experts. The event will take place Friday October 16, 2026 from 1pm to 4pm at the Global Learning Centre, room 2002, St. John’s campus, Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Registration is currently open to international students who will convocate in Fall 2026.
To register, you must complete this registration form. If your registration is approved, you will receive a follow up email and calendar invite from interntional@mun.ca.
Rather than treating graduation as an ending, this event marks it as a threshold—a moment to honour academic achievement, cultural contribution, and the relationships international students have built during their time in the province.
The event celebrates graduates not only as former students, but as emerging workers, neighbours, cultural contributors, and potential long-term residents of Newfoundland and Labrador.
