World of Graduate Studies with Dr. Bolu Ogunyemi

Our guest speaker is Dr. Bolu Ogunyemi (MD’13), a medical dermatologist and clinical assistant professor of medicine, as well as the assistant dean of social accountability at Memorial University’s Faculty of Medicine. In addition to his MD, he also completed a diploma in clinical epidemiology (research). He is a proud Memorial alumnus.

A diversity and anti-racism educator and advocate, he has given several keynote speeches and TEDx talks on this topic, as well as being published in The New York Times, The Globe and Mail, National Post, CBC and Huffington Post.

He is the recipient of Memorial University’s 2019 Horizon Alumni Tribute Award, which is awarded to outstanding achievements for an alumnus 35 years of age or younger.
