Young Artist and Young Composer Alumni Celebration

Friday, July 4, 7:30-9:30 p.m.

D.F. Cook Recital Hall, School of Music

A special 25th anniversary concert celebrating the legacy of Tuckamore through some of its outstanding performer and composer alumni. We asked alumni Arlan Vriens (violin) and Emma Schmiedecke (cello) to curate a program spotlighting music by alumni of the Tuckamore Festival’s Young Composer program. They will be joined onstage by fellow alumni Esmeé Gilbert (piano), Maria Cherwick (viola), and Carole Bestvater (violin), presenting an evocative exploration of composers’ inspirations from nature, literature, art, and grief.

This concert will be followed by a post-concert interview with the artists led by Annie Corrigan.

Tickets: $35/25

Visit tuckamorefestival.ca for full festival details, programs, artist bios, free events, and ticket options.
