100th Anniversary: Celebrating Memorial University’s support of the arts

From Feb. 15-Oct. 19, 2025, the Memorial University 100th Anniversary Art Gallery Exhibition, titled To Launch Forth into the Deep: A Legacy of Supporting the Arts at Memorial University, will be part of a larger exhibit celebrating The Rooms 20th anniversary.

Faculty and staff are invited to join us in celebrating at an opening reception taking place on Feb. 28 at The Rooms. The public event is free to everyone.

In addition, to celebrate Memorial’s centennial year, six of the pieces from Memorial’s permanent collection will be available for sale as poster and postcard reproductions at the St. John’s campus Bookstore (in person and online) and The Rooms gift store. Visit the Gazette for more information.
