Representation matters: Memorial community walks in local Pride parade

It was a rainbow of representation in downtown St. John’s this weekend.

After a postponement in July due to extreme heat, the Pride parade took place on Sunday, Sept. 26.

Many members of the Memorial community participated in the parade, carrying a banner with the Progress Pride flag and blowing bubbles.

There was even a puppy appearance — President Vianne Timmons brought her two dogs.
