Statement from Office of Indigenous Affairs

OIA to lead conversations related to identity, ancestry

Campus and Community

Indigenous identity and Indigenous ancestry are issues that can be complex and nuanced.

The conversations around these issues are ones that must be led by Indigenous people.

As such, the Office of Indigenous Affairs will be leading conversations on the matter.

We respectfully ask that the university community leave space for us to gather and discuss.
