New Gazette series spotlights researchers at Memorial

Innovators. Visionaries. Discoverers.

Like protagonists in any good book, Memorial researchers play pivotal roles in helping shape Memorial’s success.

Over the span of the next several weeks, the invaluable contributions of our researchers will be showcased in a new series of stories.

“The expertise of Memorial’s researchers is vast and far-reaching,” said Dr. Richard Marceau, vice-president (research). “The common denominator among them, however, is a shared passion to generate new ideas and advance knowledge of important areas of study. From health care and offshore technology to the social sciences and natural resources, readers will meet some of our outstanding researchers through this collection of profiles.”

Dr. Marceau says the newly launched Gazette website, with its dynamic layout, is an ideal medium to showcase the work of colleagues who conduct research.

Every two weeks, there will be a new research profile published to the Gazette, reaching a diverse audience and boosting the profile of research right here at Memorial.

“I invite readers to check back regularly for these profiles and to share these stories on social media so others can learn more about the important contributions of Memorial researchers,” added Dr. Marceau. “Stay tuned!”

The new research series begins March 8.
