Campus and Community

By Memorial University

Memorial University’s St. John’s and Marine Institute campuses, including the Childcare Centre, are reopening at 11 a.m. Employees are asked to report for work at that time. Exams at 12 p.m. and later will go ahead following the previously announced schedule. Students can access their personalized schedule in Self-Service.

Exams previously scheduled for 9 a.m. this morning will be written at 7 p.m. on Friday.

All revised times and locations for Thursday and Friday are available via Self Service and online.

If there is a conflict with a previously scheduled exam, students should contact the department head of the rescheduled exam, not the original exam, to discuss possible solutions or to request deferral. At the Marine Institute, please contact the Marine Institute registrar.

If the exam was scheduled by the Blundon Centre, students should contact the Blundon Centre directly to reschedule at blundon@mun.ca.

If the rescheduled exam creates a situation with three exams in a 24-hour period, students may write the three exams as scheduled or request a deferral for the second exam. To request the deferral, please email the department head, instructor and copy registrar@mun.ca. At the Marine Institute, please contact the Marine Institute registrar.

If you have further questions about the impact of the storm closures on exams, please consult this FAQ: http://www.mun.ca/main/Dec13FAQ.php
